My Dream Presentation


本プレゼンテーションは、平成２３年４月開講の愛知県雇用セーフティネット対策職業訓練
「国際ビジネス業務マスター科」の最終講義にて発表した「Final Presentation」の内容です。


皆さん、おはようございます。本日は、お越しいただきありがとうございます。私は名古屋市から来ましたユキオです。
　
　		 Good morning everyone.

Thank you for coming here today.
My name is Yukio and I’m from Nagoya City.
本日は、『私の夢』についてお話させていただきます。このテーマを選定した理由は、皆さんの前で『私の夢』 をお話しすることによって、その夢を実現できると信じているからです。
　
　		 Today I would like to talk about “My Dreams”

The reason of this presentation is because I believe my dreams will come true by speaking in front of many other people.
本日のプレゼンでは、主に３つのポイントについてお話いたします。始めに、「キング牧師」についてお話をさせていただきます。彼は 『Ｉ Ｈａｖｅ Ａ Ｄｒｅａｍ』 という有名な演説をしました。次に、『私の夢』 を紹介させていただきます。その中の一つは私の人生において重要な意味を持っています。最後に、「夢に日付を」という本についてお話させていただきます。この本は渡辺美樹さんが書かれたものです。では、最後まで私のプレゼンを楽しんでお聞きください。ご質問は最後にお受けいたします。
　		 As for today’s presentation, I would like to talk about 3 main points.

So, I will start off by talking about “Mr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” who made a famous speech, “I have a dream”.

Next I will show you “My Dreams”. One of them has an important meaning in my life.

And finally I’ll tell you about “Date Your Dreams” which book was written by Mr. Miki Watanabe.

では、「マーティン・ルーサー・キング・ジュニア牧師」についてお話いたします。彼は、１９２９年にアメリカのアトランタ州で生まれました。アメリカの市民権運動の偉大な指導者で、有名な 『Ｉ ＨａｖｅＡ Ｄｒｅａｍ』 という演説しました。その翌年、ノーベル平和賞を受賞しています。アメリカ人の偉大な指導の中には、歴史的な演説をした人がいます。キング牧師は、その中の一人でした。
　		 From now I will talk about “Mr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”
Look at the slide no.3.

He was born in Atlanta, U.S.A. in 1929.
He was a great leader of Civil Rights Campaign and made a famous speech “I have a dream.”
After that he won a Nobel Peace Prize.

Some of American leaders made a great speech in their history.
So, Mr. King was one of them.
　
　
１９６８年、キング牧師は 「ワシントン大行進」 の時、２０万人の大聴衆の前で、その歴史的な演説をしました。彼は、言いました、「私は、夢を見ます。いつか４人の子供たちが、皮膚の色によってではなく、人格の内容によって判断される国に住んでいるだろうという夢を。」 キング牧師が大衆の前で彼の夢を語り、そしてその夢を実現したことは、重要なポイントです。ここまで、「マーティン・ルーサー・キング・ジュニア牧師」 についてお話いたしました。ここからは、『私の夢』 についてお話いたします。
　		 In 1963 he made a historical speech in The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
He spoke his dreams in front of more than two-hundred-thousands audiences.

He said, “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

This is a point Mr. King made his dream come true by speaking in front of many other people.

Up to now, I have given you some information about “Mr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”

From now I will talk about “My Dreams”.
　
それでは、『私の夢』 をご紹介したします。 私には、世界一周旅行、アルプススキー旅行、ホノルルマラソン完走、東京観光、ＪＩＣＡシニア・ボランティア、英検１級合格、ＣＦＰ資格試験合格・登録、マイオフィス開設、幸せな人生を送る、という夢があります。
　
　		 Look at the slide no.5.
This is where I show you “My Dreams”.

These are my dreams.
Going Around-The-World Tour, going on Alps Ski Trip, joining Honolulu Marathon, sightseeing of Tokyo, doing JICA Senior Volunteer work, passing Eiken The First Grade, getting CFP qualification, running My Office and leading a happy life.
そのうち最後の一つは、とても重要な意味を持ってます。私の名前 「ユキオ（幸男）」には、「幸せな男」という意味があります。私の両親は、彼らの愛と願いを込めて、私に名前をつけました。そうです、私は幸せにならなければなりません。そこで、皆さんに一つ目の質問をさせていただきます。「私の幸せは、どこにあるのでしようか？」、「私は、どうしたら幸せになれるのでしょうか？」。その答えは、次の３番目のポイント 「夢に日付を」 の中で、渡辺美樹さんによってお示しいただけるでしょう。以上が、『私の夢』 についてのお話でした。最後に 「夢に日付を」 についてのお話をさせていただきます。
　		 Now I would like to say that the last one is a very important dream for me.
Look at the slide no.6.

Because my name called yukio means a happy man.
My parents named it with their love and wish. Therefore I have to be a happy man!

And then I ask you the first question, “Where is my happiness?”, “How can I make myself happy?”

What do you think of these quwstions? Do you have a suggestion?

In my opinion the answer is shown by Mr. Watanabe.
I would like to point it out in the next third main point.

That was about “My Dreams”.
From now I’m going to talk about “Date Your Dream”.
　
　
では、３番目の 「夢に日付を」 に移らさせていただきます。皆さんは、渡辺美樹さんをご存知でしようか？渡辺さんは、「ワタミ（和民）」の会長を務め、「夢に日付を」という本を書かれました。その本の中で、次のように述べています。イメージできるならば必ず夢はかなう、すべての人の夢に日付を！、大切なのは夢に向かうプロセス、夢を追うプロセスのなかにこそ幸福がある。そうです、これが先ほどの質問の答えです。幸せは、夢を追うプロセスの中にあるのです。
　		 You should go to third point “Date Your Dream”.

Look at the slide no.7. Do you know Mr. Miki Watanabe?
He was a C.E.O. in Watami Co., Ltd. and wrote a book, “Date Your Dream”.

In the book he said, “The dream comes true by all means if you can image it”, “Let’s date the dream of all people”, “A process to make a dream come true is very important”, “There is happiness in a process in pursuit of your dream.”

So this is the answer to the former questions in the second main point, slide no.6.
　
　
では、こちらのスライドをご覧ください。ここには、「夢を実現するプロセス」 が示されています。その第１ステップは、夢をイメージすることです。第２ステップは、夢を語ることです。第３ステップは、夢に日付を入れることです。第４ステップは、夢の実現に向けて行動を起こすことです。何度も諦めずに試みることです。忘れないでください、失敗は成功の母である ということを。最後のステップに至り、夢は必ず実現するでしょう。そして、幸せはこの「夢の実現プロセス」 の中にあります。ここが、今回の私のプレゼンの中で一番重要なポイントです。決して忘れないでください。
　		 Now look at the slide no.8.
It shows the process to make your dreams come true.

At first, image your dream. Next, speak your dream. Then, date your dream. After that, take action to your dreams. Try and try and try. Remember that every failure is a stepping stone to success. At last, your dream will surely come true.

And once again, don’t forget happiness is in this process. This is the most important point in this presentation!
　
　
最後に、『私の夢』 の日付をご紹介いたします。こちらです。私の人生は、８０歳で終わる予定です。しかし、未来というものは不確実なものです。私は、自分の夢の日付を変更するかも知れません。以上、「夢に日付を」 についてお話いたしました。それでは、本日のプレゼンのまとめをさせていただきます。
　
　		 I would like to go to the next slide no.9, I will show you the date of my dreams from now, 2012 to 2044.

My life is going to terminate in 80 years old.
But I will be uncertain in the future, I might change the date of my dreams.

Well, you heard about “Date Your Dream”.

Now I will go over the main points in my conclusion.
本日のプレゼンのテーマは、『私の夢』 についてでした。最初に、「キング牧師」についてお話をさせていただきました。彼は、「Ｉ　ＨａｖｅＡ Ｄｒｅａｍ」 という有名な演説をしました。覚えておいてください、彼は、たくさんの聴衆の前で彼の夢を語ることによって、彼の夢を実現させたことを。二番目に、『私の夢』 についてご紹介いたしました。９つありましたが、その中の一つには私の人生の中で重要な意味を持っているものがあることを、忘れないでください。三番目は、渡辺美樹さんが書かれた 「夢に日付を」 という本についてのお話でした。覚えていただけていると思いますが、幸せは夢を追うプロセスの中にあります。ここが今回のプレゼンの中で一番重要なポイントです。
　		 Today’s theme was “My Dreams”.

First of all today, I talked about “Mr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”, who made a famous speech, “I have a dream”.
Please remember Mr. King made his dream come true by speaking in front of many audiences.

Second, I told you about “My Dreams”, so, I had shown you my 9 dreams.
Don’t forget one of them has an important meaning in my life.

Third, I gave you information about “Date Your Dream” which book was written by Mr. Watanabe.
I hope you remember that there is happiness in the process to make a dream come true.

As you know, this is the most important point in this presentation!
　
プレゼンを終える前に、皆さんに二つ目の質問があります。「私は自分の夢を実現できるでしょうか？」　「私は幸せな人生を送ることができるでしょうか？」　私は次のような皆さんの答えを期待しています、「Ｙｅｓ，Ｗｅ Ｃａｎ！」。これで本日のプレゼンを、終了させていただきます。最後までお聞きいただきありがとうごさいました。ご質問がありましたら、喜んでお受けいたします。
　		 Before ending, I have second questions to you, “Can I make my dreams come true?” or “Can I lead a happy life?”

So I hope your answer is ”Yes, we can!”
